History:
Hazelwood teeting necklaces were first used by aboriginals to ease teething pain. In 2002, a Quebec family rediscovered the many health benefits of hazelwood and formed Pur Noisetier (Pure Hazelwood). These hazelwood necklaces are made from wood harvested from the Pur Noiseter farm. They are 100% natural and hand made in Canada.

How it works:
When worn against the skin, hazelwood has the medicinal property of absorbing and neutralizing the body's acididy. In doing so, hazelwood relieves or prevents ailments such as teething pain, digestion problems, exzema, diaper rash and constipation.

Safety:
In the event the necklace gets caught or is under too much tension, the clasp will give way. The string of beads is sealed at both ends with a metal clamp, so the beaded strand will remain intact to prevent a chocking hazard.
